Hall Call

Dan Patrick started a discussion that I didn't hear but heard the ripples from later today. I often wonder who is in and who is out of the Hall of Fame for a respective sport. Today that discussion came up. I've been wanting to do this for a little while and today we do baseball. Here is why this debate is fun. Andruw Jones hit career HR 300 last night. He's 28. Is he in? Lots say yes, some say not yet....He's close to catching Dave Parker, Gary Carter, Don Baylor and Johnny Mize in HR's and he's got Gold Gloves all over the place. Seems simple...but if it all ended today is he in? Greg Vaughn has more HR's and so do David Justice and Ron Gant...

Who's in and who's out? Some are not yet, meaning if I had my way and the player continues on his current pace he will be in, some are no brainers so they aren't mentioned...

Jeff Bagwell...Yes, barely
Frank Thomas...Yes
Juan Gonzalez...NO
Jim Thome...Not Yet, got to get back to Indian form
Gary Sheffield...Yes
Manny Ramirez...Yes only if it keeps up
Carlos Delgado...Not Yet
Chipper Jones...Not Yet
Jeff Kent...Not Yet
Vladimir Guerrereo...Not Yet
Rafael Palmerio...Yes
Bernie Williams...No
Craig Biggio...Not Yet 400 hits from 3000!
Kenny Lofton...No

Trevor Hoffman...Yes
David Wells...NO
Mike Mussina...No

Let the arguing begin...
